W.M. Rhodes, known to her readers as Wendy, is a Yorkshire-born historian and nonfiction writer who brings overlooked stories vividly back to life. Born in Bradford, she has long been fascinated by the lives of ordinary people — especially women, the poor, and those often pushed to the margins of history.
Her books span true crime, women’s history, and local history, combining careful research with an engaging, accessible style. Now living in Spain, Wendy continues to write, research, and uncover the human stories hidden within the past.
